Peg lowering option

I just picked up my 98 K1200RS and can tell the left knee doesn't like that bend. I saw the options for peg lowers and they are expensive. I had a pair of leftover pegs from my 2000 Triumph Tiger and thought I would give them a try. They are straight and don't have the lift of the stock BMW pegs. Had to grind about 1/16" off the back to get them to fit but it looks like they will lower the pegs by at least an inch, maybe more. Used stock pin and clevis lock. Will need to find the right return spring as the stock will not work. Don't have the stock Tiger spring. I will be taking it for a ride this morning. I'll also take pics of the transition. Hopefully this will work.
