1997 k1200rs wiring diagram

so my my bike was in a crash and the front consol was totaly smashed, the speedometer are in pieces and i hade to change my right hand control to a new one. I had som problem turning the key and found out that the ignition switch was corroded so cleaned it, and try to turn the switch without the key.
now i got power to the park light and the rearbrake light stays always on. but i can not hear that the fulepump starts or that the starter motor will crank.

I appreciate any guesses of what the problem can be, if its foreksample a sensor or that i need to turn it on with the key because some rf/fob sender

i will also appreciate if anybody got a wiring diagram so i can see if there is a sensor in the speedometer that stops it form starting.

Yeah....you might need the instruments to establish the interlock/neutral light circuit and powerup!Get a cheap cluster from fleabag and check all functions before you think of hacking anything.

Closest you'll get to the wiring diagram and checks for the sidestand switch/clutch switch/gear indicator etc...interlock is with the Clymer manual.Starts at 98 but I think close enough.

My guess is? After seeing the old R/H switch this morning? You should post that pic here.....I'd bet now that some of the relays are cooked like that switch.Loadshed/starter relays?

And maybe even some ground wires in the multi grounds cable that goes directly to the battery!

if you think about the part i have marked in red it was actually left overs from me going crazy with a drill to get it open, and i found ut later that i was a screw hiding behind a sticker on the other side....

but i will definitely check out the relays and the grounding, and thank you Mattias_r for the link

Ouf not melted!

I told you about that screw? Was I too late?

You could have switched the cover/broken kill switch button rather easily and retain the rest of the switches/connectors.

The blue connector? Different wire colors?Might just be your problem.Repost them pics here Jean can probably sort that out for you.
