o3 k12 gt - clutch splines in disk sheared off. looks like NO grease on trans shaft EVER.
soi need to replace gear box & clutch disk.
NEED TO BUY USED - TRANS WHAT SHOULD I LOOK OUT FOR.
numbers on trans ? ( higher #'s - better trans ?)
is a TRW the best disk ? (oil resistant)
ANY HELP AS IM LOOKING FOR PARTS ?
Yes, for sure check your pressure plate for flatness, no more than a couple thou out. Change the Oring with a viton one and leave the main seal. Do all the other stuff folks talk about while in there too.

tire guy, I'll mount your tires.
NO grease on shaft or clutch splines - dry as a bone. wore trans shaft splines - till it jumped. (replaced clutch disk - by POwner)
& sheared the rest.
rest of assy all ok.
got a sbs clutch - (6mm) for $120 new - from the UK.
this time ALL splines get lubed with moly paste - hand rubbed in - then a thin film.
ill do the drive shaft splines too - all dry - never serviced.
thank god the exhaust nuts came off. swing arm bearings all good & rear diff.
