The 'weight' is what makes this bike unique from every other sport bike out there. Plus....when you;re travellling on the autobahn cruising at 120 mph...the 'weight' is what keeps you planted and gives the ride of a lifetime.
To be honest mate, i've put the stock one back on from my remus as i did not notice any difference in the way the bike handled or just felt generally. It wasnt even easier to push about at a standstill. I think when the bike weighs that much anyway, you wont notice anything major unless you rip it to bits and make it a track bike!!!
no one has said the obvious,,, back off on the import beer and chips, exercise a bit. Most weight saving are to be had on the rider, not the bike!
