Which Windscreen???

I am looking to buy a windscreen for my 98 K1200RS to use in the winter to try and keep as much wind off of me as possible given the 30 degree days I'll be riding in. One of the wind screens I'm considering is the BMW Comfort Screen. Your suggestions are appreciated. Thanks again.

Keeping the BMW look and windshield not the size of movie screens, I replaced my RS with the GT screen. It's a +3 and the price was right. Wind noise much reduced. Bugs now go right over the helmet.

Hi,

You might look at offerings from Cee Baileys and from Aeroflow,as well as the previously mentioned Parabellum.
Another option is to add a Laminar Lip to your stock screen.

Aeroflow! Excellent wind protection, especially if you get the aeroguards as well. >55k miles on mine.

You may experience more turbulence with the BMW Comfort screen. I'm 5'10" and hate the comfort screen at speeds over 65. Made me feel like my head was in a paint shaker. If you ride at lower speeds, then it is OK. Check the ususal places like ebay for a used one. Seem to be pretty available at a low enough cost you can try one out.

I'm 6'2 and got the parabellum +8. In the winter the air flows just over the top of my helmet. I also got 30mm barbacks so I'm also sitting a little more upright. In the summer the lower position is about 2" down so I can flip my visor up and get some air flow. I have the Comfort screen, but it was still too low for me and too much noise.

Just bought an 04 GT. Dealer tells me an RS screen will fit it, so I've ordered one (no idea what the P/N is). Can anyone confirm it should fit?

Oops, found this thread which I think answers my question in the affirmative.
