Absolute Newbie Here......

Hi folks. Just checking in to say that I'm the proud new owner of a 2000 K1200RS with just over 10K miles on it. I had to trailer it home this evening but I hope to NEVER do that again......way too heavy a bike and much more fun to ride it......

Nevertheless and neverthemore, here's a pick in my driveway as I got ready to run it around town and get some gas (StaBil)........big snowstorm coming here in FlugistanUtah......I'll have to ski this weekend........no biking......

So, like all newbies, I have lots and lots of questions regarding upkeep and so on. It's got a Remus exhaust, Corbin seat, bar backs and no heated grips or cruise control. Nice color scheme and decent tires.....

Looks good!

May you have many long, enjoyable, and memorable miles on it.

Wow! Really a nice looking ride. I STILL say the RS is the sexiest bike BMW ever made.

I'd have to agree. The K-S, K-R and K-R sport just don't look as good as that ride.
