new 2007 K1200RS in the spring?

What am I reading in the new issue (April 2007) of BMWON? There is an interview with three BMW Motorrad execs beginning on page 45, where the marketing manager, discussing five new bikes to be introduced in the spring, says he believes the most important bikes in the US market will be the G650, and the K1200RS. I can't find any reference to a new K1200RS on the web, anyone know what the deal is?

I'll bet it's the K1200R-Sport.
Two G650's, F800, F800ST and the K1200R-Sport were the five (I believe) discussed as new entries.

I just got a copy of the latest Manhattan BMW circular and it has a beautiful photo of the new K 1200R Sport. It comes in blue and gray. I can scan the photo if there are no other photos around.

Not what I expected, but it's nice. I think I would prefer the new GT then. Thanks, Jack

I heard that K1200RS means K1200R for Sissys. Couldn't resist that one.

Just put a sport screen on a K1200R and have a better looking bike for less money.

I ya want fairings then just get a GT. BMW bike marketing must be coming from the BMW car folks.

Well said Bent, although my understanding is the the "S" is for "Seniors" who find the styling of the "R" just too radical and the "R Sport" is a little less edgy and more acceptable for their civilized asses to sit on. 2t

This is the K1200RS (it says so on it's sides) (ok, it's no 2007, it's a 2003)
