Advice needed for doing 12k service myself
My '03 GT will be due for it's 12k service by the end of the month and I plan on doing most of it myself. The list of items covered for 12k in my Clymer manual seem fairly straitforward except for the MoDiTeC stuff and the brake fluid change which I don't want to do myself. The dealer will get to do those things, but the rest I would like to do myself. Does anyone have any suggestions as to things I should be wary of? I've never taken the tank off to get to the air filter, so I know the quick-disconnects come into play there. What do I need to know about those? Also, I want to change the coolant out since it has not been done before. Any special anti-freeze I should know about? The fluids are pretty basic so I don't think I'll have a problem there, but any advice is appreciated.
