Unhappy Where to buy Rotor / Pads quickly

Ok...I'm not stupid. But I get busy. I guess it's stupid to get so busy that I don't pay attention to things like brake pads. I washed the bike today... and see the scoring in the rear rotor, check the pads, and see I waited too long to change them.

I will change rear rotor and pads myself. I looked at other posts and saw some bought EBC rotor for about $200, and OEM around $300.

My bike is my daily driver. So Calif dealers are all closed Monday. Shall I order on line? From whom? ... or wait till Tuesday and hope it's in-stock locally and that they will accept a 2nd mortgage to pay for it?

Thanks guys... I should have heeded your advise to check the pads regularly.

Odd that you would post this today - I just got home from a lengthy roundabout ride, and on the home stretch after getting off the last freeway stretch, taking a break and removing my earplugs, I noticed a "shhhhhhhhhh" sound coming from the front every time I hit the brakes. Never noticed it before.

I checked the pads when I got home and there's plenty of friction material left, although I will probably order four new ones for when they do finally need to be replaced.

Yeah... I'm not feeling very affable right now.

Ken... thanks for the post... I'll call in morning. I'm off tomorrow, have to work Tuesday. A trip to Murietta in the cage from La Habra tomorrow is doable.
