It's Friday Night! And we all know what that means!?

It means that tomorrow is Saturday. And Saturday is my only window to get a ride to the the dealership that is 3 hours each way away to where my bike has been sitting for 2 weeks now with the new air box and software. I hear it's running great! It's just waiting for me to get on it and head south to the great wide open and warm spaces that are the American south west.

Last week I woke up Sat morning to 8" of snow.......well guess what......

It's [email protected] SNOWING.....AGAIN!!!

Just needed to vent a bit.....I feel better now.....NOT.

Hey Robert,
I live in So. Idaho, I can give you regular updates here buttercup, for the weather heading your way!

But I do know what you mean, I want it to warm up soon
.
By the way, where do you go for your service? I currently have to drive to Boise, and their premier "K" mechanic quit last year and the current jokster is lost in beemer world w/out a clue.

I would consider the drive to beautiful Montana, if on the western side.?

I know what you mean Robert. I am soooo tired of the white fluffy!!! I keep telling myself that spring is here and it won't be long...I hope!

I did manage a short ride last night but the temps were chilly (38*)...even with the space suit adorned.

Well it looks like I have about a 12 hour window to get to Spokane and back until the next storm hits. I'm going for it. Right now it's still snowing there but everywhere in between has stopped. Roads are wet as the temps hovered around 32 all night and they were warm enough to melt. Supposed to get to low 40's so I should be OK. If we get there and not.....such is life.

Hey Grif......Bite me.

Vegas man, you couldn't pay me enough to live there.

And for any one thinking of moving here.....this is really just part of the facade that we keep up. The standard answer to any one, especially those from CA is that it's 40 below with 10 feet of snow for 9 months out of the year......and we're all inbreed.

Davey. I go to Beaudry Motorsports http://www.beaudrymotorsports.com/ in Post Falls ID. Just over the border from Spokane. There's also Big Sky BMW in Missoula. But I would imagine either of them are a pretty good distance from you.

I think the scaredest I've ever been was riding in Vegas when we went to the Art of the Moto. Man, that's a wild town to ride in. Zig to one side to avoid getting creamed while zagging to the other to avoid a peondestrian. All the while scoping the eye candy sauntering and jiggling down the sidewalks.

Yup, the worst part of cycling in Vegas is all the eye candy. Gotta be pretty careful if you are riding, much better to be sitting somewhere like by the Belagio fountains and watch the candy walk by.

Oh and snow, I'm going skiing tomorrow. I was out 2 weeks ago and had 30cm of snow.

But, the bike isn't out yet, just the commuting bike (KLR650) - not too much cost if it goes down.

Don't you know that global warming has caused a colder climate. That's what the x-spurts are saying.

Did you know that Al Gore invented the airbox. That is why they are warped.

Did you see that article in Snowmobile World about synthetic vs. dyno oils.

You don't need to vent. You need to move to a warmer climate.
