12V retarted power off
I'm working to install all my farkles in my K1200GT radio, horn, gps, aux lights, intercom, autoswitch, aeroflow etc all work nice but I have a problem with Autoswitch.
I used BMW connector near to battery where we have:
Lead 1 = ground
Lead 2 = pulsed speed signal
Lead 3 = +12VDC (CANbus controlled)
sure lights and horn power are connected directly on the battery.
I use double autoswitch to control intercom and Martin fabrication aux lights, all work nice but the problem is retared power off in Lead 3.
It is not a problem if a small GPS or Intercom still on for 1 minute after I switch key off, but I'm thinking maybe can be a problem to have GPS, Intercom and aux lights 35W+35W for 1 minute after I switch key off.
I know also because of Canbus we can't connect wires in several places, so does someone know where I can connect Autoswitch to get 12V key off when I switch key off immediatly ?
The best thing will be to connect Autoswitch to low beam, so also aux lights switch on only when engine is running.
Forgot to say that, Lead2, pulsed speed signal, doesn't work with Autoswitch because it is not really 12V
