Shark This!

Y'all remember when I had the P40 stickers done?

Well, one day I was parked next to a beautifully painted RS and it just made the stickers look cheap.

I contacted my bud, David Kinsey, of Kinsey Koachwerks and had Max BMW directly ship him two new panels. I told him to surprise me. David is a master at what he does and just does excellent stuff. These pictures don't even bring out the beauty and detail (iPhone). The eye is a roundel that he airbrushed and there's a piece of chrome (we all know where chrome comes from) hanging out of the teeth.

I rode down to Santa Fe, TX (near Galveston) today and slapped the new panels on. I swear the bike was more aggressive on the ride home.

Messenger 13 came up with a statement I'm gonna steal: FJR's for breakfast, C14's for lunch.

That's the coolest motorcycle graphic I have ever seen. I did see this graphic of a naked woman on this Harley once. When I complimented the rider for his taste in graphics, he told me that it was a picture of his wife. Grif, I'm not suggesting that your graphic is an illustration of your wife. Maybe mine, but not yours.

So now we'll be able to tell our bikes apart.

Looking forward to seeing it in person at CCR (and Sandar the Magnificent too, of course ).

Damn dude, way cool, but I must admit that up here it just might invite the unwanted attention of the constabulary.

I've got enough bug guts (spring), oak pollen (yellow- spring) and dust (ferocious winds) that they do kind of look the same!

Yeah, but isn't it amazing when you lift the helmet and they see you're not some kid.

I fogot to tell you , Ken, David wiped the panels down after I installed them. I stood around waiting for him to do the rest of the bike with no luck. He said he was trying to shame me into cleaning it.

FYI, you don't have to take the lock apart to remove the glove compartment. It just slips out of the hole with a good tug. "Someone" found that out for me.
