Anybody have a service schedule for the Gen2 GT's?

I can't seem to find details on service other than inspections or service every 6k.

Yes, every 6K or once a year....unless you have a service issue.

So what is done at the 12k? I heard valves aren't checked until 18k, so is it just a visual and an oil change?

I noticed for the first time that lubrication of the ball-joint and clamp comes up in the 12K service. Never saw this on my R bikes with the paralever (or was that telelever?).

Plugs and valve clearance check at 18k miles. ($$$)

From the manual:

Reading fault memory with BMW Motorrad diagnostic system

Oil change in engine and oil tank, with filter

11 34 502 Checking valve clearance (for maintenance) *)
every 30,000 km

12 12 509 Replace all spark plugs (as part of maintenance) *)
every 30,000 km

Changing intake air filter

Checking front brake discs for wear

Checking front brake pads for wear

Checking brake-fluid level, front brakes

Checking rear brake disc for wear

Checking rear brake pads for wear

Checking brake-fluid level, rear brakes

Checking freedom of movement of throttle cable and checking for kinks and chafing

Checking coolant level

Checking tyre pressures and tread depth

Checking ease of movement of side stand

Checking ease of movement of centre stand

Checking lights and signalling equipment

Function test, engine start suppression

Lubricating ball-joint clamp and ball

Test ride as final inspection and function check

Reading fault memory with BMW Motorrad diagnostic system

Checking battery charge state

Confirming BMW Service in on-board documentation

Lubricating ball-joint clamp and ball
Without looking it up, and being too lazy to, AND at the risk of once again sticking my foot in my mouth:

I think that refers to the exhaust joint at the fwd. end of the muffler...

Also, I sent Rod the different schedules, i.e. 10K, 20K, annual, etc.
