How much costs to turn a 2006(7) into a 2008?

I always rationally think that does not worth to buy new. Guess what? I always end up buying new. That's it. Anyway, do you have any ideea how much it costs to turn a 2006 into a 2008? Changing seats, airbox..whatever. Just for my personal reference, paid about EUR 4,500 (incl TAX) more than almost new 2007 K with 1000 miles on it from BMW dealer in Munich Germany. Cost of pick-up almost another 500-1,000.

the brakes are totally different - there is no electric servo in late 2007+ . The rest is not so expensive - to buy a Sargent saddle would cost you around 800-900 bucks and the airbox/soft replacement is free/subject you claim it/. TPS - not sure if you need it at all.

Take care!

The Brakes changed in late 2006 and the air box etc will or can be done under warranty given that a later 2006 still has 5 or 6 months warranty left.

The seat is up to you.

my loss then. anyway, happy with the bike, much happier than with the 2006 when i had it 2 years ago. sold the gsa back to the dealer for nothing, it was sold next day for over $3000 more. wait for the aeroflow (tall) + airguards. will let you know how it feels. damn, i liked so much the gsa and when i took it to the dealer i had the impression of being on a tractor or some other kind of agricultural machine. good bike though.
