Damn Canbus!

I am preparing for a long journey. Making the packing list and testing few things. Among them a small compressor from Touratech that I was planning to carry just in case. What do you think? You cannot put more than 2 bars in a tire because the canbus is disconnecting the power outlet due to high consumption I presume. Waisted money. I may install another power outlet connected directly to the battery through a fuse.

The easiest solution is to install the second power outlet. Problem solved.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

That's what I did, and wired it directly to the battery with a fuse. It's handy, because I can use an air compressor without turning on the ignition and air up my tires in the garage.
