12v Aux connector location on an R12RT?

Hi all!

Ok - I know this is a little off topic for this board, but with all the knowledgeable people here I thought I'd give it a try.

I'm planning to help a friend out in the next few weeks wiring up an Autocom on his RT. From the info on this forum he purchased the 12v connector etc. which a few people have said exists across the line on BMW bikes.

My question for the group is - where can the connector plug be found on the RT? I know where they are on our GTs, but.....

If someone can please let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm sure it will go a long way to helping him (and me) feel confident that we're poking around in the right area.

Thanks!

Mike

Bueller....Bueller....anyone??

OK, so I know this is a K-bike board....but a few people here do have R bikes, right?

If someone would be so kind to help me out here, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks much.

Mike

You could try asking your question on a RT-based forum, like this one for example.

All lower 48 states plus Alaska on the K13GT in two weeks . . .

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
