So I added this really cool bike ('07 GT) to my stable...and found this really cool discussion forum ( while surfing this other really cool discussion forum (BMW Luxury The LT board gave me some great ideas and procedures to help me farklalize my LT. And just like that other really cool discussion forum...THIS one has done the same for my new GT.

Let's far I've installed the following with the assistance of the HoW:

Big Mak Shelf
Zumo with XM radio
HID low beam
Streble Horn
Blue Sea fuse box (Which fits really nicely on top of the battery by the way)
ZTechnik Carbon Fiber tank protector, gas cap, luggage rack and dash trim

And on the future farkle list:

Hid aux lighting
J&M amplified speakers on ZTechnik Spider Mounts
Direct wired outlet for battery tender

And just like that other "really cool discussion forum," all the helpful ideas are worth supporting financially. Therefore, please accept my meager contribution as a Standard Member

Welcome and enjoy the bike.

For what it's worth. Skip the "powered speakers" and get a good set of in ear phones or custom molded. Had speakers that I upgraded on my old RT. Absolutely worthless for anything other than making noise at 20 mph. That goes for any speakers on any bike. You've got a helmet on and you're going 70 mph. The physics of music coming out of a speaker and traveling to your ear just don't work.

Under certain circumstances...

I had the radio/cd and fairing speakers on my '05 RT. Only time I could hear anything worth listening to at speed was with earplugs in. Then it was perfect...well, it sounded a LOT better and you could even understand stuff.

With my GT I now use the in-ear earplugs w/speakers by "Shure".
