Angry TPM Alert!

After running over a nail & having the rear tire replaced, I now am the proud owner of
the dreaded Yellow alert symbol in the LCD display. Not that I won't miss it staring at me while I drive, but say....If someday I wanted it to go the Hell away without dealership intervention, is there a way to reset it?

Any suggestions short of using tape to hide it (or similar suggestions) will be welcomed.

Thanks!

How much pressure do you have in your tires? My alert seems to activate if I have anything less than 2.7 bar. I run my tires at the tire manufacterers maximum which for my pilot road 2 is 42 psi. Use a good guage to measure it. I have had problems with the TPM alerts in the past. Most recently when I had my tires changed also. I disconnected the battery and let the tires and bike cool overnight in the garage and with the tires inflated to 42 psi I read 2.9 bar and I get no further lights! Maybe that will work for you

Front is within Specs at 36psi, Rear at 41psi. The alert is indicated for the rear tire only (the one that was replaced.)

Would disconnecting the battery trigger a Computer reset?

Thanks for you help.

Don't be shocked by the price. At tonight's exchange rate between South Africa and the US Dollar, R 1,995 is $259.30. Not bad.
