Klunk or no klunk on the 2008 GT?

Klunk or no klunk on the 2008 GT?

So I'm interested in if the '80 GT's have had the trans altered so it doesn't klunk down the road. I'm hearing reports that it no longer sounds like it's being beat by a tire iron.
