Stock seat modification

I know I've seen this info on the forum in the last month of so but can no longer come up w/ the proper search terms. Those who have shortened the pegs at the rear of the front seat - do you cut the post itself of the rubber stoppers that the posts sit in? How much of a cut did you find solved the "sliding forward" problem?
Thanks,
Ray

I cut about 3/8 of an inch off both. That worked for me. I'd ease into it, you can always cut more off but reattaching is a bitch!

I did the same to my Corbin and I noticed a significant improvement. Next step is to send my Corbin to Russell and have them work their magic. Part of the problem I feel is the lack of leg support in relation to the position of the foot pegs.
