You'll love em....I've had the exact same set up on this and the last bike for years. This time I wired mine so if the Piaa switch is on, they come on when I hit the high beam. That way I don't have to hit 2 switches to light them up. (Made that mistake last time.)

Awesome!! Could you please post the wiring instructions. I already have a pair of these lights to install on my GT project. Sure would love to know how you got around the CAN bus issue.

Well, if only my brain could remember. It's been well over a year and I did it with the tech at the shop while standing around BS'ing and installing other farkles too. So now I'd have to rip everything apart to look. However, it works quite well so I know it's possible.

My best guess going from memory though would be to take this diagram and wire the switch power directly to the + on the high beam lamp. So if you leave the Piaa switch on, when you hit your regular high beam switch they all light up. This would seem to be correct because I can't run the Piaa's if the high beams are not on. Which I don't anyway but if you're looking to use them as day time driving lights this set up wouldn't work too well. This wiring should also take the Canbus out of the situation.

If I don't have this quite right some one should pop up and correct me. Maybe one of the gurus around here would know better. But it should work.

ALWAYS use a relay when working with CANBUS, unless you're coming off a fuse box that's already been relay'ed.

Read CANBUS 101 in the Hall of Wisdom (top right on the menu bar, hit TECHNICAL, then HoW).
