Zumo wiring - cut out the fuse?

Just wondering - if you have your Zumo hooked up to Canbus (accessory wire/plug forward of battery) are you cutting out the inline fuse or not? Got my 450 today off eBay - good project this week. Saa-weeet

I'd keep the fuse, ya never know. Of course, you'll have to cut it off and resolder it closer. Now, running from a fusebox, I'd can it.

What was that middle thang?

Figured there was no harm in keeping it, just want to double check since it will be on the Canbus. Thanks

Don't forget to pack a couple of those mini fuses. The canbus will trip above the 2 amp fuse so the fuse should go first. Its not a big deal, your GPS will run on internal battery for a few hours so you can get to a parts store. You will not have music, phone, and may loose the voice part of the directions.

Ride safe.
