Norris Cooper in final journeys

It was with sadness I saw Norris Cooper in final journeys in the BMWON.
They said he passed away august 2008. I didn't know about this.
Does anyone know what happened to him?

I am sure he is going to be missed by all.
Thanks for info,
Regards,
Vic

Wow. Thanks for the news. Wonder how old he was? He was a pilot, and his dad landed at Dog Red on Omaha Beach, 6 June 1944.

Too bad we can't make that one last post to explain what we did or didn't do to cause our demise. That is one post we will never get to read.

Prayers for the family and loved ones of Norris.

You can find his obituary here.

I never met him, though I would have liked to. He and I were polar opposites on many social issues, which led to some interesting online discussions.

From reading the Guest Book, I gather he was having some health issues that finally caught up with him. I also gather that he will be missed by many.

Thanks Meese,
I didn't know Norris that well either but had corresponded with him about my tankbag and some other stuff. He was a very knowlegeble guy with a lot of practical know how.
God bless him.
I appreciate the obituary info.
Regards,
Vic
