What was the mileage?

The Canadian, Motorrad Tech Services Manager told me last summer they had yet to shim a new K-bike in Canada. He even suggested I not bother at my initial interval. I did anyway, and it came as no surprise that I did not require any shims.

Anybody else had shims? At what mileage?

My valves were checked at 25K and 53K, with no shims needed. In fact, yours is the first case I've heard of where shims have been changed out.

Just had mine done at 32,000 klm.
1 shim needed. It was at .40 so they brought it back to .35 like the rest
Tones of other work completed at the same time.
Air box, cam tensioner, , chain tensioner, some ball joint, oil pump sprocket, clutch pack, and spark plugs.
All for the low low price of $550.00 Canadian
Now I just need some decent weather to test it all out

I had none changed at 17000 for $342, and three shims changed at 33000 for $407, neither price includes plugs which I had changed at the same time.
