k1200gt noob

I bought a new '08 Graphite K1200GT SE a couple of weeks ago when I found one heavily discounted in a showroom. Loving it! My other bikes have been an '07 F650GS Dakar with motard wheels and a fair few other farkles, and an '08 black pinstriped R1200R. I still have the Dakar, no intention whatsoever of selling it. Great bike. The R was fantastic too but was written off after an incident in December.

Obviously the GT is a big change! I'm about to start a new job that will require a 300km commute each Sunday with the return leg on Wednesday, so the GT is perfect for the job. Did a test run on the GT on Wednesday/Thursday this week.

DuoLever is certainly a revelation. I thought the Telelever front end of my R was fantastic, but the K front is better still. Amazing.

Any tips on bolt-on camera mounts? Touratech has a kit but it is strongly oriented towards bikes with tubular bars, which the K has not. Would like to mount a cheapo digital still camera for taking the odd pic on the move. There's alternate firmware for Canon DIGIC II/III cameras (Powershot and friends) that gives you time-lapse features and RAW output, would like to try it with my interstate commutes
