Laminar Lip

Installed a Laminar Lip on my 2008 K1200GT with the high windscreen and the difference is amazing! Highly recommend the installation of the unit. Will supply images if there is interest. Quieter, less buffeting at a lower height. Nice stuff!

Yes, please post pix.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.

How tall are you abercrombie. I am 6'4 and the tall oem screen is a little to low to get my helmet in clean air when in the up position. Also where did you order the laminar lip? It looks like a quality product.

Laminar Lip

I'm 5'11" and I have a friend that is a little over 6' and he has his set about 1/2" higher. I just don't have to raise my screen as much as I did before to get better protection and less wind noise. Go to www.laminarlip.com

Good people to deal with and fast shipping to boot! Hope this helps and it is a very quality product and solid as a rock without drilling holes. Good luck!

Is there any added distortion? At certain angles are you not looking through 2 screens not one?

Lip

Not really any noticeable distortion. You can run with the screen lower and you're really looking over it instead of through it. I had the same fear but the Laminar is high quality and very clear.

Another for the LL. For those of us that didn't want a barn door effect, it's the best thing going.
