Navigator III Tip (corrupted maps)
OJT: Navigator III boots, starts loading maps, resets, starts loading maps, ... and so the beat goes on.
Fix: Turn off Navigator, hold down find button, power on, release find button when prompted with a "Erase all user data? [yes, no] message. Tap yes, resets, boots fine. Connect to PC when less frustrated and reload maps/set settings.
Might be worth while for someone else who never read and memorized the trouble shooting sheet. While out and about, the reset gets back basic functionality.
