Suspension Problem??

My 07 GT with 20K miles seems to be riding a lot harsher in all three modes. Gets worse as the tires heat up. Checked air pressure and wear, all seem normal. There is some grime/dirt on the rear shock ( around the white coils) but cant determine if the rear shock is actually leaking.

What say you guys

Sound like you blew the rear shock, or the ESA is malfunctioning. Are you still under warranty?

Could be worth checking out the lever which we had replaced under warrenty in the uk. Its a pretty quick job to take it off, grease up and replace.

I've heard of a few ESA shocks failing and being replaced under warranty. I've also heard of a case where the shock was "stuck" and the dealer manually moved it by applying a voltage directly to it, then it worked fine after that.

Take it back to your dealer and push until you get a proper resolution.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

On my 06GT the ESA was not adjusting even though the dash indicator showed it was. I thought it was riding very soft at high speed and it turns out the ESA was stuck in "Comfort 1+baggage." I had 19k on the bike when it was discovered and it was fixed under warranty. The other issue was it took 2 weeks for all the parts to come in.....
