blinky tail lights

I just installed these bad boys on Pearl. I'm not sure how much difference it makes, but I like the theory

I had those on my bike. They are great. Do you get the yellow flashy triangle on your display whenever you hit the brakes? I did. Kind of annoying but then I knew they were working.

yup. I don't mind it. I feel safer. I had to reverse one of the lights polarity, but the instructions told me exactly what was happening and what to do. They did a good job with this product

I loved them. You are right about the flashing fault light. I had confidence that they were working. I am installing hem on my new 1300Gt which I am picking up tomorrow. It is a very fast install of 10 minutes unless the polarity has to be reverses which I had on my 2006 1200GT.

Those and the new led addition make the bike very visible , especially when breaking.

Question

so it only give's you the warning triangle when you're actually on the brakes?

I really liked the idea of the tailblazer, but heard about the canbus issues and wrote the idea off.

The P3 lights have no Canbus issues whatsoever and the oscillate slightly when in running mode. Makes you look twice thinking "are those thangs moving?"

So Grif, are the "P3" bulbs you're talking about the newest version or something that are listed on Pirates site? I can't find anything saying "P3". Only that the newest version shouldn't have any Canbus issues, although they don't guarantee it. Some still do apparently.
