Rebate/Accessories/APR

Can someone please clarify the current rebate/accessories deal from BMW?

I think the deals are: 4.9% OR $1,500 in accessories, OR XXXX rebate?

Can I get a definitive answer on the rebate amount?

From the BMW Motorcycles USA website, click on Promotions in the upper left corner to see what the current promotions are. It currently lists the following for the GT:

K 1300 GT
2.9% (36 months), 3.9% (48 months), 4.9% (60 months) OR $1,500 Free BMW Accessories / Apparel

It's so easy, a caveman can do it.

BMWLT#145, IBA# 366, MOA# 111996, SCMA# 24032

All lower 48 states plus Alaska on the K13GT in two weeks . . .

Correct, but there is no solid wording I see there in regards to a rebate instead of the Accessories, or am I missing something?

I want to make sure that what I am getting from the dealer is the right promo from BMW and I am not being shorted...

I've never seen a rebate mentioned, and rebates are somewhat unheard of in vehicle purchases. It's generally financing deals or cash back, or in the case of BMW cash value for accessories.

Man, it sucks not being able to trust your local dealer.

What I heard was that BMW originally offered $1,500 cash off the new bike price or $1,500 in accessories but after a day or two, that got changed to just the accessories deal. And that matches up with what's posted on BMW's website.

I'm all for getting the best deal here, but once you actually buy the bike and put a few miles on it, all the $$ stuff just fades away . . .

In April, there was a $1500.00 "rebate" (off of the price). It was good for April only. I took advantage of it. It was dollars off, no strings. This month it is $1500 woorth of accessories. I guess some dealers will use this money from BMW to lower the price.

Some of them are offering $1500 rebates, but they are only getting something like $1200 from BMW, so that cuts into their ability to haggle.

$1200 is also about what the 4.9% financing is worth vs. 8%, if you finance $16000 for 5 years.

I have heard that from two different dealers they will apply what they get from BMW against the purchase price. so in each case i was asking about a RT which is $1250 in accesories and they said they get $1k back from BMW

So that number seems to coorelate. It appears the dealer is credited the wholesale price or possibly a little more.
