Anyone find &/or fabricate Covers for the Bag Mount areas on the Tail section?!

I was looking (to no avail) for 'Covers' for the rear tail section of our GT's for the 'insert/sidecase mounting areas', (for instance like the painted rear panels on the K-S bikes). Has anyone seen anything out there?

I was looking for something I could mod, perhaps from any other bike that would have a nice contour, OR else I could fabricate one out of fibreglass, carbon fibre or sheet metal?! Just thought there must be SOMEONE else out there crazy like me who likes the way the bike feels & handles without the side cases and would like for it to have a more attractive Tail! (Not permanently.) I think these bikes have an ugly rear end (without the cases) but rather than changing TOO much would like to have covers that could be easily installed (4 bolts or similar).

IF anyone out there has any leads to something already being done &/or sold or has any great ideas, let me know!!

Haven't heard of anybody making covers for that area. In fact, I've yet to hear of anybody really bothered by it. I sometimes run with the bags off but when I'm riding, I don't really care what's going on behind me . . .

If you do come up with something, be sure and post pics here.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
