Goodbye K Bikers

My '07 K-1200GT spent way too many days in the shop because of the bogging and hesitating. The shop was never able to fix it even after leaving it for weeks at a time. I filed a lemon law case. I just didn't see the point in buying a $21K motorbike that had performance issues. After a couple months of dancing around, BMW agreed and bought it back. I am sad that a company that makes such wonderful cars (I have one), has such quality issues with their motorcycles. Oh well. It's back to Japanese for me. Take care gentlemen!

Seeya Dude, shame to hear about your experience, I think that there are many of us on this site that have had less than satisfactory experiences but havent been as decisive about it as you seem to have been.
ride safe!

To be honest, I have a few friends who would argue the point of their "wonderful cars", based on their examples.

I'm new to the BMW world. Still early days, but I love the bike. Better luck with you next purchase. I hope I don't have to go through something like that with any vehicle!

Sad to see you go, but you should enjoy your ride and if it was not doing that I understand. I had the same problems but with my 540iT, what a hunk of junk!

So far my K12GT has been good.

Hope you find what ever puts a smile back on.

I think BMW has bought quite a few K bikes back after getting threatened with lemon law suits... I checked out a web site selling bikes that BMW had bought back and "fixed" and were selling with modified titles listing them as previous lemons.
