Question What is the SLS valve?

Specifically, part # 6 in the above diagram?

Just asking because mine is covered with gasoline and may be leaking someplace if that's possible. Googling it was no help.

I was just examining mine via a UV flashlight and some yellow goggles. Looks like it's covered with yellowish mud (almost like rust) on some silver clamping ring holding it all together. Appears it may be throwing gasoline back onto the radiator tank with the cap on the left side.

Hose # 8 near it terminates in a "plug" (Part # 9) in the Max BMW online K1200GT fiche. Whatzzup with that "Hose to nowhere?"

The gasoline leak puzzle continues....

Maybe a time for a "dye dump" in the tank.

I'm wondering if it's the valve to the charcoal cannister.

Supplemental air injection system.

Yeah, I removed it.

6 is the electronic valve to controls the amount of air injected into the exhuast ports.

I doubt this is leaking gas, it deals with air only.

The fuel lines run on the left side of the engine by this valve, do you have a hole in the line? A clamp loose?
