low thorx with slip on and sport air filter?!

I`v recently installed a Laser Duo tech slip on, and a sport air filter (K/N). I have driven 2000km with the sport insert (2 inserts on this slip on). I noticed a stalling, and low thorx in 3-5000rpm.

Now i have installed the DB-killer insert in the slip on, and it seams to be better?!

I have reset the injection system (battery off, and pull 3 times in throttle)

Does anyone have the same issues!?

and yea.. K1200GT - 07/08

Mods done: Power frk, stepper motor, sloppy shifter, Laser duo slip on, sports air filter, Zumo mount, decor stripes

Hi Kjetil,

Norway, huh? I've been to Finland, but never to Norway. I hear there are some great roads out your way.

The problems you describe are normal for the K12GT. You may notice them more with the new filter and pipe, but they are there with the stock setup, too.

Many of us have installed a PowerFRK unit to help minimize these problems. Basically, it's a small box that plugs into your air box temperature sensor that helps eliminate the flat spots and rough idle. There's a lot more information in this thread. But feel free to ask any other questions that come to mind.

All lower 48 states plus Alaska on the K13GT in two weeks . . .

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
