TPC reading WAY high...is there a reset?

Had a new set of skins spooned on last month. TPC acted a little funny (rear only) after I left the dealership but it eventually returned to "normal" reading 2-3 PSI high. A couple of days ago...I looked down at the display to read "48" in the rear...front remained a steady and accurate 36. Today, riding with my buddies...the TPC started to climb steadily all the way to 60 PSI and the yellow triangle came on sand stayed on. Checked the tire and it is at 42, right where I always keep it.

I've heard of the system reading low, but never high. Anyone else? Any ideas before I call the dealership and ask questions?

There is no reset for the TPC. If you recently had a new set of tires mounted, I would suspect damage to the sensor in the wheel. The sensor is very easy to hit with a tire iron if you aren't being careful.

About that... my front wheel has a warning label indicating the position of the tire pressure sensor but nothing on the rear wheel. Is the rear wheel sensor mounted at the valve stem?

Yes, and there should be a warning sticker there, too.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
