An orignal Early '07 Final Drive, how much oil.

230 or 180 ml's?

I know what the owners manual says, 230. I know Meese and others have a service bulletin that says 180. But I was wondering if the service bulletin refers to:

The 09 and later.
The 08 late 07, with the drain.

All new final drives should now have 180ml fluid changes. That includes all Slant/4 bikes and R12 bikes.

I went to a local medical supply place and got a 60ml syringe. Three squirts and I'm done, without needing to remove the rear wheel.

All lower 48 states plus Alaska on the K13GT in two weeks . . .

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Thanks Ken. I did it this weekend, don't have the lower drain valve, but it only took me about an hour an a half. I have a 60ml syringe from Wally World, it was marketed as a 2stroke oil mix measuring tool..... In reality I think I got about 200mls in it. Seeing how it had 230 for the first 24k miles I don't think it matters much.
