Be seen from behind

Purchased (2) 8"X12" sheets of the 3M black reflective material. Cut to fit, tried to use most of the sheet.

No flash

Nice job.

My only concern is that stuff would reflect flashing blue & red lights just as well . . .

I feel the need to be seen sometimes but not others so I fitted a loop at the back of my jacket on the neck wrap.

I have one of those flashing red led cycle lamps slipped into the loop. Because it is high up you can be seen a very long way off, even if they forgot to turn on their headlights!

Too bad it doesn't come in amber or red. In most states it's not legal to have clear or white lights or reflectors facing the rear.

EDIT: From Idaho's vehicle code:

TITLE 49
MOTOR VEHICLES
CHAPTER 9
VEHICLE EQUIPMENT
49-910. COLOR OF CLEARANCE LAMPS, SIDE MARKER LAMPS, AND REFLECTORS.

(1) Front clearance lamps and marker lamps and reflectors mounted on the front or
on the side near the front of a vehicle shall display or reflect an amber
color.

(2) Rear clearance lamps and marker lamps and reflectors mounted on the
rear or on the sides near the rear of a vehicle shall display or reflect a red
color.

(3) All lighting devices and reflectors mounted on the rear of any
vehicle shall display or reflect a red color, except the stoplight or other
signal device, which may be red, amber, or yellow, and except that the light
illuminating the license plate shall be white and the light emitted by a
back-up lamp may be white, amber, or red.
