Stuff Happens!!! Adding stabilizer

Was carefully adding fuel stabilizer today when the litlle dime sized silver sealer disc pops out of the cap just as I 'm pouring. You guys all Know where it ended up doncha?!!!!
Yeah, right in the tank!!!! Also one of the few times my fuel level was down around 1/2 or so. I could see it with my flashlight. No way to get it!!! Topped the tank hoping it might float up and I could grab it with some long needle nose pliers. Huh!! Doesn't float.
Stuff happens!!!

Get a long pickup tool at your automotive parts store, the kind with a spring-loaded 3- or 4-prong grabber at the end.

You say you were "careful", but unsealing any bottle of liquid directly over the bike is practically begging for a spill!

Probably should put out cigarette and not use a propane torch to illuminate the situation too.
