Ordered a GT today and THANKS!

Thanks to everyone who posts in this forum. All of your input has been a tremendous help. After reading almost all of the threads written in the last few months I feel like I know this bike pretty well.

I had been planning to get an RT but was waiting to see what revisions were being made on the 2010 model. Test rode both the RT and the GT.

Loved the GT. Man what a bike!

I ordered a blue 2010. Should have it in a week.

Thanks again.

Congrats... oh, and it's not just "blue", it's "Royal Blue Metallic".

Congratulations! Post a few pics of your new bike from points all over the Southeast! Have you scheduled your 600 mile service yet?

Congratulations dude - a good choice (and also a wise decision to go for the slightly slower colour - these things can get you into serious diffs).

PS: Sincerely hope you're as delighted as I am with mine - superb piece of kit.

I am surprised the blue looks so much faster.

I have been moderately farkle obsessed for the last couple of weeks. I started with the

Zumo 660 and a gerbing jacket liner.

Radar detector is next.

Congratulations!

You did schedule your 600 mile service, usually within 3 days is a good number.
Might take a month to get to the 6000 unless you ride like Meese, then schedule the 6000 for the following week.

You will enjoy every moment of riding it.

Blue is THE fast color. Don't let these guys tell you otherwise. After your initail farkles, you need motolights or other extra visibility. Remenber, that in order to use your gerbing liner, you should add the additional accessory outlet wire direct to the battery with a fuse or a switched fuse box( better as you add more stuff). And a louder horn and extra modulated tail light.

Congrats on the bike purchase.

Blue IS the fastest color, after the Apple Red Metallic
