Stebel Air horn

Has any one installed a Steibel horn on an 07' GT? If so how did you do it?

Horn on a 07

Yupper I installed a horn on the left side above the ABS stuff. Tied it in thru the existing horn and used a relay and a fuse block. Can't remember the name of it at the moment. Was not to hard.

Yes its relatively easy once you remove the right and left fairing panels, right side only if you choose to mount on that side however there is more room on the left.
I bought my Stebel (nautilus) on Amazon.com and it came with a wiring and relay kit.
Take a look in the Hall of Wisdom section under (technical) at the top right of the forum page.
Its under Next Gen, then accessories or just click here.

If you see Grifs post he dresses to the right and the others on the left.
I now no longer have a problem with cell phone using lane wonderers in cages. Its fun watching them lose the phone onto the floor as they crap themselves.

Yeah, another +1 for the thing. I love it as it definitely gets more attention than the stock piece of crap. I left both horns hooked up though seeing as it can't hurt. An honestly it is louder, but it is not "jaw dropping" loud....but it does make a huge difference. There's just no way to mount it with out it getting covered up and muffled by all that plastic. Now if you were able to mount it out side somewhere that might be a different story.

Dale did you fab the bracket yourself or did it come with the kit - looking for something to do this winter.

A friend fabricated the bracket from aluminum stock. Used a vise and a hammer to get the correct bends and clearances. It really works out well with the relay mounted on the bracket - very clean. My friend in a perfectionist!

I can ask. We did a fair amount of test fitting to make sure everything cleared. I'll find out next time I talk with him.
