K1300GT cockpit-Wunderlich GPS mount & levers

Thought I'd post up a couple of pics showing the the new Wunderlich GPS mount, which comes with power socket and wiring included, and also the "famous" Wunderlich levers you've read about!

Like your setup for the GPS. I may change mine from between the bars to the Wunderlich..
I like your country flag array on the tank !! When will you add the US flag?

The tank is actually missing a few flags too, as I haven't found them (in this size) for Bosnia&Herzegovina, Slovenia. or Croatia.

Re. visiting/riding over on your side of the pond, I have a friend over there in Pennsylvania, and I guess that would be where I headed for first if I were to get over there. Bit difficult to know where to go though, and how long to take to explore, as there are so many major parks we'd like to visit, plus the Grand Canyon et al. It's on a to do list, just not sure when!

That GPS mount looks great. I like the way it puts the GPS up in your line of sight. As someone who has had some unfortunate experiences with getting distracted by looking down at the GPS mounted between the handlebars I would consider this a potential life saver. I plan to order one immediately. Great pics too!

stability

That GPS hangs out pretty far. Is it stable or does it move around a fair amount?

There is minimal movement, but very well damped, and certainly not enough to blur the screen or distract you at all. Other benefit of this mount is that it comes with a power socket and cabling. If you look to the bottom right hand edge of the Zumo you can see the socket.

This mount position is so much better than the BMW mount, it's surprising how much you had to look down to see it there, the new mount in your line of vision is better and safer! Highly recommended add-on.

I saw the new Wunderlich mount at the motorcycle show in Long Beach, and warned them about the bump at the bottom rear of the cradle for the new Zumo 660. The non-removable cable harness comes out from the side of the bump.

You will need some type of stand off (thick rubber plate or thick rubber washers or a similar solution) to accommodate it. Not a big deal, but you wouldn't want to be surprised, either.

This is an issue for the Zumo 660 cradle (also the BMW Nav IV cradle). It doesn't apply to the Zumo 550.

This is just what I was looking for. I hated having the GPS mounted so low. I just ordered one, however availability was listed as two weeks out.

I wonder if it will clear the Aeroflow flow plate? Just a thought.

just purchased a Zumo 660 and will use this mount for it. Do you connect both mounts harness one that comes with the GPS and the other with the mount with the extra plug?
