One of the greatest things I've done to mine!!!
Especially for braking they really allow you to squeeze your legs and put no pressure whatsoever on the bars!

+5. Buy them and protect your family jewels.

+6 I have them on my 08GT and they make a world of difference. They also made a big difference when riding with a passenger and keeping the family jewels off the tank. The tank protector is not the best looking thing but I bought a carbon one anyway.
The company is very good to deal with. My first set did not stick well and I sent an email to them about the problem I was having. In less than a week I had a new set on the door step.

I have these on my '08 GT and they are great...well worth the $$$. They say they are removable and then can be put back on again, but I question that as they stick pretty firmly. Get them position right the first time and enjoy!

So are you guys doing Snake Skin or High Fusion? I would be more inclined to the high fusion myself. The current protectors I have look a lot like the Ice Grip but have gotten slick and just generally look like crap after a few years.

I think I need the tank protector. That rear area on the tank is getting all scuffed up, like I am wearing sandpaper pants!
