There are two or three threads with lots of photos in the Hall of Wisdom. Here's one: http://www.k-bikes.com/forums/showpo...4&postcount=17. Go to Technical/Hall of Wisdom/New Generation/Accessories/Horns and browse there.

excelcyclewerkes.com makes a Stebel horn kit for the GT. The kit separates the horn from the compressor for easier install. Its a little pricey but worth it in the long run as I don't have the facilities to make mounts, etc.

I got more photos of his products from Johnson City - PM me for images
I'm trying to get him to do a K12s set up or I might get it a try myself - I would like to keep the stock wire end - rather then cut it off or a conversion plug from stock end to Nautilus male end.I like chopping it apart / compressor in one area - hose to horn.

Got the excelwerkes horn.

Once the garage temps are at least in double digits will attempt the install.

Till then it sits in the box

Stebel

Well, I went out to install the excelwerkes horn and it is a no go. I have an 06GT and they apparently made some changes in later years. Where excelwerkes has the compressor mounting is already occupied by a big silver box, I assume brake stuff. Fortunately Tom at Excel Werkes is kind enough to let me return the kit.

Now to see if I can find a place to mount a horn.

Dave, I installed mine on the left hand side and there is ample room with the horn in one piece as long as you havent already mounted other stuff there.
It does mean taking the tupperware off of both sides so that you can still get to the original horn and cables but it was simple.
I am sure one of the installs in the Hall of Wisdom shows a left hand stebel install.
Its pretty easy mate and no need to seperate horn and compressor.
