installing rear hyperlights

Hello all -
I am installing rear hyperlights on my K1300GT and the instructions say to connect the hyperlights grey power wire to the bike's alarm circuit (white wire with green stripe). I thought I had it right by connecting to a white/green wire coming off the diagnostic plug harness - but no power, so wrong circuit. Anyone know where the alarm wire is and how to access it?
Thanks

got it figured out - the revised instructions on Hyperlights website are much more clear than the older printed instructions I received with the kit. alarm circuit is on a 5 wire plug - easy to identify.
Kit works great.

Alarm wire is where?

I am presently trying to locate power under the seat. Where did you locate the alarm wire?

Another place to get switched power is the front parking light. This bike has 2 of them, accessible through the front turn signals.

You can see a photo part way down this page:

Connecting to this power source gives you the advantage of having the supplementary lights come on when you turn on your parking lights.

Our P3's come with an emergency flasher feature that can be enabled with the parking lights when connected this way.
