I have seen these before, but kinda hard for me to pay $475.00 for LED. It' nice though, hopefully in the future price would come down a little bit.

Has any one actually used or seen these things in use? Do they really perform as well as advertised? Kind of interesting but I agree. REAL spendy for LED.

you may want to check these out:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/12V-LED-Spot-L...item2a0ad26225

this is a guy from Hong Kong, he is very efficient at answering questions and shipping, etc. He used to have a set of 27watt LEDs, but I don't see them listed any more. I bought 2 of these 27watt LEDs and they cost (with shipping) $104, and I received them in about 6 days here in the US. Unfortunately I haven't mounted them yet, but they appear to be well made, coming in aluminum cases and s/s brackets. Included are 2 mounts for 7/8" bars and 2 sure-seal waterproof electrical connectors.

I have of course tried them out to see how they work, and all I can say is wow, they bright .
I have a 55w HID fitted to my dip beam, and these 27w LEDs drown it out almost.

btw, I have no affiliations to '2allbuyer' on e-bay, but I just appreciate good service, etc.

Not bad for the price. This is what I am looking for so it will match my HID. I will try to get one as well.

The guy(his name is Komy) is very quick to reply to e-mails and will try his utmost to get something if it isn't listed in his sale items.
I ordered the 27w LEDs and wanted them in anodised black, I just e-mailed him(e-bay) and put my request in, he said just to order and put my requirements in the extra info box.

I will try to take a foto or 2 tonight to compare my HID to the LED.

Cool! I just contacted Komy as well. Not bad for the price incuding shipping to Oregon (less than $90.00 total). I am seriously considering it.

Where and how exactly are you going to mount these on the bike?

I am thinking of mounting thew either on brackets on the mirror stems (btw I have a K1300S), or in the nose where the snorkels were, I have fitted the evoluzione air filters, so the snorkels are removed.

The lights are about 2" in diameter and about 3 inches long.
