Question about new front brake lines for the GT

I am bringing my 08' KGT in for the new front brake lines under the recall campaign. My question is:

Does the dealer have to bleed the whole system to replace the front lines?

I'm due for new brake fluid, but wasn't going to do it until next spring. This may save me a little expense??

Thanks,
DRP

Yes and no. The dealer will bleed the front brakes and replace the brake fluid while performing the recall work, but the rear brake will be left untouched. The rear brake has its own separate reservoir and brake line; it is bled and refilled separately.

According to the BMW spec, both brakes should be bled after the first year, then every other year thereafter.
