Paid Off!

I probably have the last 07 BMW (or at least GT!) to have the loan finally paid off (at least as the original owner). Feels good! I got mine left-over in Aug 08, and I managed to pay it off a little early.

Good for you!!!! Nice feeling you own the bike outright. Now lets start to shop for a new bike. Maybe a new 1600.

It felt weird when they stopped making the K75, as I was an "early adopter" with an 87. I had thoughts that maybe I should have nabbed a newer one, like the year production stopped. So now it's even weirder, that the GT is paid off and now production is probably already over for the (4 cyl) series.

Garage
It sure is great not to owe the bank

You realize that by not having payments, the GT might think you no longer care about it and are thinking about something new. It could start to sulk (aka break)

But than you might have one of the good one's and it will run wonderfully because you are going to add all those farkles you promised it. It will be so happy because you now have the cash for all those long trips together this coming season.

Only about 90 days till we can see the roads again in the snow belt. Plan the trips and enjoy!

Sounds good! Anyone in the upper Midworst planning on the Slimey Crud in May? I have the day off!
