What do I need for a V1 install?

Okay within the next 2 weeks I'll be ordering up a Valentine One.

I have a '06GT with Autocom.

Now I know nothing about electrics so be kind.....I know I'll need V1's audio converter to connect to the AutoCom, but do i need anything else? I have the mount all ready so that's not a concern.

I've been doing searches on the forum trying to find detailed info on how to install a Valentine One on my '06GT.
I spotted some posts and replies but nothing detailed enough could help me.
I'm a complete idiot and scared when it comes to electricals.
I read on another post that power can be taken from a BMW connection up by the battery. How is this done?
I also will be getting the V1 Audio adapter since I also have AutoCom and want to connect it to that also.

So I need hand holding on what to do. How to get power to the V1 and how to connect up the audio to AutoCom.

Thanks for any and all help.

Mike

In addition to solving your electric installation issues, you will also have to find a waterproof housing for it.

That's easy...I'll either use a quick shower cap or take it off (quick disconnect) and store it. Not going to need it if its raining that much.

So the question/plea remains.
