Farewell, for now.

Well boys and girls I picked up my new bike this afternoon which is a late 2010 RT.
She is in Thunder Grey with all the fruit.
Its been a very long 3 months since the old blue girl went down the road and Im really looking forward to putting some miles under me again this weekend.
I have really enjoyed this forum, gained some priceless information and met {well not really but you know) some great brothers.
Given its leaning towards these slower german masterpieces I will probably be lurking over on the "other" website now however I promise to pop in from time to time.
I will be watching with intense interest for the news and feedback on the 1600 and if they prove to be what they seem on paper no doubt a shiny GT will replace the RT next.
Thanks to everyone who has helped me with information and laughs over the last few years as I looked for support during my hate/love/hate/love relationship on the last GT.

CYA

Andrew

Talking Vroom Vroom! Fool the Doctor!!

Dude, I loved my RT: arrest-me-red, Akropovic unleashed wonderful exhasut note, Power Commander improved a number of foibles. It was FUN FUN FUN!!! Only reason I'm on the K13GT is because my dealer tricked me when I brought it in for an oil change....he secretly handed me the keys to a new arrest-me-red K13GT without telling me and I thought it was still my beloved RT, I really hadn't noticed ....until I cracked open the throttle to get onto the expressway and WARPED INTO K1300GT NIRVANA .....What could I do?.... I had to get me one of these!!!
Never-the-less, you just can't go wrong with an RT, they are wonderful, enjoy the heck out of it and hope to hear from your adventures soon! -Dr Ron

Dadi....enjoy it. I too spent many miles on an RT before this GT thing. And I must say I certainly do miss the reliability factor. Roughly 100k miles and nary a hiccup on that old machine. But things change. Don't disappear for good. Give us a feedback report on the differences after some miles. Stay safe!

Loved my RT's, I'm sure you will too! Watch for the new water cooled boxer. I'm more excited about the possibility of a new 130-140hp RT than I am the 16.

Nah I think it's one of them DODGE products, one of these new fangled AUTOmobiles with doors and stuff. Twice as many tires=half the speed.
