Need to ship my newly purchased k13gt from Lubbock Texas to Sweetgrass Montana. Looking for recommendations for company.

Fed Ex Freight since I'm assuming you're looking to import it they can bring it the whole way across the border too and handle the paperwork.

Or you could always go down and ride it back yourself?

Robert should know since he ships busted debris around the country.

Wonder how the warranty stuff will work out if it goes funky in Canada? Ship it back into the USA to get it fixed?

Not that mine has ever broke down on the road requiring the distant dealer to take me to an airport.

Last I heard Texas and Montana were in the same country? (Even though neither likes to admit it ) And where did Canada come in?

I like Tejas...have family there and get there a couple of times a year. But I would never put in in the same regard as my beloved Montana!

Actually I was just making what I think is a logical assumption. They guy is from Canada and he's inquiring as to shipping to Sweetgrass. Check the map. It's right on the border.

Ah, I get it now. I just kept re-reading the original post at face value and wasn't putting 2 + 2 together.

Like the drive

Thanks everyone for your feedback.
I'm going to pick the bike up at the boarder and bring it into Canada.
Never though of using fed ex to ship a bike?
Does anyone have experience using other carriers.

I booked Heritage to pick up, a pickup and delivery scheduled and guaranteed, then the pickup date moved out a week, shakes a persons confidence!

Fed ex freight

Good suggestion to use fed ex. They require the bike to be crated, no go from the seller. Any other idea's?

Dumb question: Why not fly down to Lubbock and ride it back? After all, it is designed for long distance riding.
